The Effects of COVID-19 on the Construction Industry in NH and MA

Team Engineering is open and very busy, but not too busy to help you with that design project or solve that engineering issue.

Everyone we know in the construction industry has a full schedule right now and many of them are relying on Team Engineering to create the structural and architectural plans for their projects.  As essential businesses, construction companies and design firms (like us) are still planning, designing and executing projects.

The bulk of our design work relates to projects in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, both states asking residents to take significant precautions to flatten the curve of the pandemic.  Remarkably, our phone is still ringing with project calls from new and existing clients.  Our contractor colleagues are out straight because of a backlog and it is too early to tell if the bounty of projects will level out, but our clients are reporting elevated prices which reflect that contractors are picking and choosing new projects.
