1993

John Turner founds a local engineering franchise for a national firm providing only inspection services

2012

Team Engineering is created to provide Building Inspection and Design Services and expand our project capacity

2016

Team relocates from Goffstown to Bedford, NH to be closer to our clients

2018

Team celebrates 25 years in business since founding the firm

Team Engineering has provided inspection and consulting services for nearly 25 years. John has performed thousands of inspections and designs on a mix of residential and commercial buildings. His Architectural Engineer license affords great insight with site, architectural design, structural, envelope and mechanical systems.

John began his career working for Lalancette Engineers in Vermont. On top of that, he gained practical insight working as a Construction Foreman for many years. In addition, John has served as the Assistant Building Inspector in Dunbarton, worked for Bangor Hydro-Electric Company in Bangor, Maine, and for Texas Instruments. He built his own family home in 1999 and has led six major building projects for his family and the business.

Personal

John resides in Amherst, NH with his wife, Renee. They have three children – Maria, Carlos & Cecilia. He loves to enjoy the Great Outdoors of New England with his family. John has served as a Call Firefighter for Amherst since 2015 and is active at St. Patrick’s Parish in Milford, NH. He is creating “The Live Tree or Die Farm at Cricket Hill” in Amherst – a cut-your own Christmas Tree Farm at his Amherst residence, open for business in 2022!

As the Senior Structural Engineer at Team Engineering, Dan leads the technical efforts of Team’s structural design staff. Dan provides oversight and Quality Assurance, acting as the Engineer of Record on most of Team’s structural designs.

His portfolio has over 10 years of professional experience including the rehabilitation of multiple mill buildings in Lawrence, Massachusetts and bringing historic structures into modern code compliance. Dan has also designed retrofits of existing buildings, accommodating medical office, restaurant, retail, and industrial uses. He has also designed, inspected, and repaired dozens of bridges throughout New England, working for State and Municipal bridge owners. Dan has performed commercial structural Property Condition Assessments on both sides of real estate transactions.

Personal

Dan resides in Amherst, NH with his wife Amy, son Jameson, and daughter Kennedy. He enjoys all that New England terrain has to offer by way of hiking, skiing, biking, running, and snowshoeing. Dan is a proud member of Bedford Presbyterian Church in Bedford, NH. He also loves cooking and sometimes rooting for the Red Sox.

Kelly has 15 years of architectural experience working on projects throughout the northeast. She has designed communities for seniors which include multi-family houses and independent living apartments, assisted living and memory support apartments, and a variety of shared community spaces for the residents. With her experience and skillset, she adds design value to all of Team’s projects including single family houses, commercial new construction, and various renovations and retrofits.

Kelly lives in Litchfield, NH with her husband, two sons, two rescue dogs and a cat. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, tennis and traveling.

Brian’s work includes structural design, modeling, computer-aided drafting, plan reviews, construction administration, and many more engineering services to complete any construction project from start-to-finish. With his architectural background, Brian has the capabilities to design and draft many residential and commercial structures, including new construction of complete building designs, additions, and renovations. He is also responsible for on-site structural consultations, which include evaluating the structural integrity of existing buildings, possible settlement issues with floors or walls, cracks in foundations, and the assessment of load bearing walls.

Personal

Brian was raised in Windham, NH, and recently moved to Derry, NH with his wife, Amanda and son, Gavin. He enjoys playing basketball, watching the Patriots, and spending the day with his English bulldog, Russell.

During his time at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Nate was exposed to projects in a variety of building disciplines including architectural design, structural analysis, project management, building electrical systems, and HVAC design. In 2017, Nate assisted in designing a WWI memorial renovation project in Worcester acting as a Drafting/Design Assistant to lead Architect Steven Van Dessel. He then completed an internship in 2018 as an Architectural Assistant at The Dennis Group, where he assisted with drafting architectural and construction CAD drawings for a 200,000 sq. ft processing facility and other commercial buildings.

Personal

Nate has grown up in Hollis, NH and currently resides in Manchester, NH. He enjoys New England’s outdoors through rock climbing, camping, snowboarding and hiking in the White Mountains. When he’s not spending time outside, Nate plays music with his band and loves watching the Bruins.

Eric has substantial hands-on experience in condominium roof and attic evaluations, building construction practices, construction monitoring of HVAC and building envelope improvements. His working knowledge and fire service background of code references, such as NFPA Life Safety 101 and the State Fire Code, is value added when he assesses conditions during site visits.

Eric has over 30 years of experience in the fire service that helps him offer insight to fire and life safety considerations of building layouts and construction. He has a keen eye for recognizing extreme conditions and details such as fire, snow and ice loads on building systems. Eric is adept at assessing structural integrity of existing buildings and an expert at developing Reserve Studies.

Personal

Eric resides in Goffstown, NH with his wife, Karyn. Their three adult children are currently pursuing challenging careers. He thoroughly enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, kayaking and sailing. As an avid hiker, Eric is pursuing completion of the 4,000 ft peaks in New Hampshire. He is an active member of his church and served as a vestry member for 6 years.

In her free time, Marie is an avid obstacle course racing (OCR) competitor. Her motivation and dedicated training have led her to multiple OCR World Championships. After a long day of exercise, Marie likes to relax with her husband Sean, along with their daughter, and grandson at their home in Derry, NH.

As Engineer in Training at Team Engineering, Blaise excels in structural design and Building Information Modeling. Blaise is also involved in the evaluation of the structural integrity of existing buildings, including settlement issues with floors or walls, cracks in foundations, and the assessment of load bearing walls. Before joining Team Engineering, Blaise performed three years of cold-formed steel design and drafting for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.

Personal

Blaise currently lives in Goffstown, NH with his wife, Huguette, sons Jude and Jordan, and daughters Joyce and Julia. He coaches U6 and U8 soccer teams at Manchester East Soccer League and enjoys playing soccer, jogging and reading for personal development. Originally hailing from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Blaise lived in Belgium for 6 years, Montreal for 6 years, and is still adjusting to New Hampshire winters.

William has spent the better part of 42 years in architectural design and construction, working for design/build firms, architects, and his own residential design business. From 2000 to 2015 he worked at Autodesk, Inc., helping to develop Architectural Desktop and Revit as a Quality Assurance Analyst and Project Manager. William’s primary focus has been residential new construction and renovations. He most enjoys creating conceptual designs and producing photo-realistic renderings for his projects.

Personal

William currently resides in Goffstown, NH, and for many years pursued a parallel career in music as a semi-professional drummer. He still enjoys recording music in his home studio and has been an avid hobbyist in still life and portrait photography since 2006.

Jeff has experienced an array of engineering disciplines in his young career and offers a unique perspective on building engineering at Team. While at Boston University, Jeff’s graduate coursework exposed him to unconventional design and fabrication techniques. Jeff’s professional life started in Colorado, where he worked as an engineer at a titanium bicycle manufacturer. He got his start in the building industry after joining a specialty metal fabricator. Jeff assisted in design and fabrication of architectural and structural steel elements for residential clients.

Personal

Jeff grew up in Windham, NH, and currently lives in Concord, NH with his partner, Gabby, and dog, Peanut. You can find him climbing, hiking, skiing, or biking during his free time. Jeff enjoys working with his hands, playing music, and spending time with his family.

As an Engineer in Training at Team Engineering, Olivia excels in structural design and is working her way towards earning her Engineer in Training license. She has earned her LEED green associate license which has provided her with knowledge of green building principles. During her time at the University of New Hampshire, Olivia took many structural engineering courses with a focus on design and engineering materials. She was also the project manager for her senior capstone project and lead the design for a 13-story building and site which was presented at the Undergraduate Research Conference.

Personal

Olivia currently lives in Brentwood, NH and recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire. She has grown up in New Hampshire but did do a semester abroad in Scotland while attending college. Olivia was a competitive gymnast for many years and still enjoys being active, doing CrossFit, hiking, paddle boarding, and being outside whenever possible. Olivia also enjoys working with kids, having been a gymnastics coach for several years and a volunteer for the University of New Hampshire’s STEMbassadors outreach program.

She is excited to continue working towards earning her P.E. in the coming years. Morgan is passionate about structural design and has begun to dabble in small architectural projects. We are excited for her growth with Team and look forward to designing many projects with her as part of our staff.

Morgan recently moved to Concord, NH, from her hometown, Norfolk, CT, to join us at Team. In her free time, Morgan enjoys exploring her new home state, New Hampshire, and training for obstacle course races and the Highland Games heavyweight competitions in which she competes with her family.
