Rebuilding a Retainer Wall
By Brian Hansen, Project Manager
Before
In 2020, we were hired as engineer of record for a retaining wall that a contractor was building in Dover, NH. The previous wall was collapsing because of age and the effects of frost/ thaw. We were able to subcontract completion of the wetlands/ environmental permits and preliminary wall design. Then, we ensured that the contractor had the correct foundation, soil-restraining products, drainage, and most efficient wall materials. We monitored the process during and after the construction and produced a complete set of construction control paperwork to satisfy the local building officials.
We feel great that we were a one-stop shop for this contractor and we can do the same for you. If you have a retaining wall that you would not feel safe standing on, call us. We can help.
