Project Description

Team Engineering assisted Accurate Air Incorporated to design the HVAC systems in this new construction wedding venue. The project had a tight timeline and budget, but the design team worked hard to create a finished product that is elegant, functional, and comfortable.

The HVAC in the building is a robust air-based system capable of providing enough fresh air and cooling for large weddings. By locating MEP systems in the basement and utilizing floor distribution, there are almost no visual impacts to the beautiful event space. To serve the second-floor mezzanine level, our team utilized a high velocity system with floor mounted perimeter supply outlets. This allowed us to reduce the size of duct chases needed to run from the basement up to the mezzanine level. The high velocity outlets will also help to mix the air in the high ceiling space. Heating provided by a combination of gas fired furnaces and high efficiency hot water boilers.

We carefully laid out air intake, exhausts, and outdoor equipment such that nothing is visible from the road or front of building.
