East Cove Estate

Project Description

Located along Lake Winnipesaukee and nearby Gunstock Mountain, this beautiful residence is the creation of Bonin Architects. It is the perfect family home with amenities to highlight the lakefront, including outdoor living spaces, docks, and a boathouse constructed right into the water. The building is a single-story accessible design for aging folks and has multiple bedroom suites for children and grandchildren to grow into.
Team Engineering performed the structural design of both the main house and boathouse. The foundation of the main home is designed using cast-in-place concrete frost walls to create the crawlspace. Conventional wood, engineered wood and steel elements were designed to frame the floors, walls, and roofs above. Specific details were generated to accomplish the curved rafters and balconies framed into the lower roofs.
North Branch Construction did an amazing job constructing the building and coordinating all components with the entire design team. We are excited to see the design being published in future magazines and win design awards!
