Planet Fitness Seabrook Now Open!

The new Planet Fitness in Seabrook is now open! This was Team Engineering’s second collaboration with Planet Fitness, both being tenant fit-out constructions. This location took over a portion of the existing Kohl’s store, and we provided Structural Engineering and Construction Administration Services for the build. We designed steel frames to support new roof-top mechanical units, and we also designed a new steel frame to allow for the beautiful glass store front and canopy. The steel moment frame was three bays, spanning a total of 53 feet, and allowed for a big opening in the existing structural important shear wall. We also designed the extension of the parapet to accommodate the signature purple Planet Fitness signs.
