Maverick Gas in Manchester

By John Turner, P.E.

Life is awesome.  We are so blessed to have food and cars and gasoline…  Despite these blessings, I still often yearn to live in a simpler time, a time when you know the name of the owner of your local gas station.  Great news – you can do that today!  Gas up at Maverick Gas at the corner of Union and Willow Streets in Manchester (close to Queen City Ave.) and meet our friend Tom.  His patrons know and like him.  Count me among his fans!

The little gas station and convenience store is looking a little Brooklyn … a little dated.  Our friend Nick Golon of TF Moran introduced us to Tom and solicited our help to make it look a little more Bozeman!

Enter Team Engineering’s Architect Kelly Alessi, Structural Engineer Brian Ki and Peter Flynn of Flynn Construction and we are well on the way to helping Tom with a new home.

In December 2019, the Manchester Planning Board approved the vision, so now we are hard at work turning a vision into reality.

TF Moran has done a fantastic job with the Civil Design for this one.  Team Engineering will be responsible for the Architectural and Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Stay tuned and, in the meantime, come visit Tom at Maverick Gas.  Gas up your wheels.  Grab a few cold ones for Friday Night.  Buy some lottery tickets!  Tom …  Hard working …  People loving …  God Bless America!
