Boys and Girls Club Penacook Community Center

Winners never quit, and quitters never win, right?!
Mr. Chris Emond of the Boys and Girls Club of Central New Hampshire is clearly not a quitter. The old Penacook Community Center shown above was a fantastic facility for decades. I’m sure thousands of people have great memories of this facility.
I’m equally sure that many approached these doors, realized that there were stairs down to the gymnasium floor or up to the balcony, and could not “watch the game”…
Enter Boys and Girls Club of Central New Hampshire.
Under Chris’ leadership, we began the adventure of helping to create a new facility that will allow the community to care for youngsters safely and to provide a pleasant and accessible space for the new City Community Center and Penacook Branch of the Library.
Erin Lambert of Wilcox & Barton has done a splendid job with the Civil Design and working with the City to help get this project approved.
