Project Description

Team Engineering is proud to be the Structural and MEP engineer for this new construction build of 2 multi-family buildings project in Nashua, NH. The project features two 3-story buildings with 12 apartments each. There is a mix of 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units in each building. Due to the site constraints, each building has a slightly different footprint, and in turn, the unit floorplans vary. We designed MEP systems to take up as little floor area as possible utilizing combination boilers to produce domestic hot water and hot water for heating. Each unit is served with a ceiling mounted fan coil which will provide heating, cooling, and introduce fresh air. By performing all engineering disciplines in house and working with an accurate architectural Revit model, we were able to model all building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical) with a great degree of accuracy and avoid conflicts. This was critical in a tight building with no drop ceilings and very limited space for mechanical and electrical equipment.
