About Team Engineering

Dan has been a principal owner of Team Engineering since 2022. He is the company president, managing the business an steering the strategic goals. As the Senior Structural Engineer, Dan leads the technical efforts of Team’s structural design staff. Dan provides oversight and Quality Assurance, acting as the Engineer of Record on most of Team’s structural designs. His portfolio over 16 years of professional experience includes the rehabilitation of multiple mill buildings in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and bringing other historic structures into modern code compliance. Dan has also designed retro-fits of existing buildings, accommodating medical office, restaurant, retail, and industrial uses. He has also designed, inspected, and repaired dozens of bridges throughout New England, working for State and Municipal bridge owners. He is a wood-framed and existing building renovation expert.

Dan resides in Amherst with his wife Amy, son Jameson, and daughter Kennedy. He enjoys all that New England terrain has to offer by way of hiking, skiing, biking, running, and camping. He is a proud member of Bedford Presbyterian Church in Bedford, NH. He also loves cooking and sometimes rooting for the Red Sox.

Brian has been with Team Engineering since 2013 primarily focusing on structural design projects. His responsibilities include acting as an Engineer of Record, client interactions, BIM modeling, structural analysis, and developing design plans for construction. Although formally educated and trained in structural engineering, Brian’s education also includes a minor in architecture, which he uses to create practical solutions to complement the two disciplines.

Brian currently resides in Derry, NH with his wife and children. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, checking off an endless list of home improvements, trying to run as fast as he did in college, and most of all, being a Dad.

Our company has provided inspection, design and consulting services for over 25years. John has performed thousands of inspections on a mix of residential and commercial buildings. John also leads engineering design for a variety of projects. His Architectural Engineer license affords great insight with site, architectural design, structural, envelope and mechanical systems. John began this career working for Lalancette Engineers in Vermont. John gained practical insight working as a Construction Foreman for years. John serves as a call Firefighter in Amherst and served as the Assistant Building Inspector in Dunbarton. He built his own family home in 1999 and has led ten major building projects for his family and the business.

John resides in Amherst, NH with his wife, Renee. They have three children – Maria (married to John Schappler), Carlos (TX) & Cecilia (VA). He loves to enjoy the Great Outdoors of New England with his family and friends. John has served as a Call Firefighter for Amherst since 2015. John is active at St. Patrick’s Parish in Milford, NH. For fun, he and Renee operate Live Tree or Die Farm, a cut-your own Christmas Tree Farm at his Amherst residence.

With 35 years of engineering experience, Deb has extensive expertise in biomass, energy efficiency, healthcare design, cannabis facilities, and multi-family housing. As the mechanical engineer of record, she will be responsible for the design and selection of mechanical and plumbing building systems, as well as the review of construction documents. Additionally, she will handle client interactions and oversee construction administration.

Deb, a native Vermonter, is currently adjusting to the unique vibe of New Hampshire. She is a proud mother of two adult children and a dedicated pet owner with three lively Pomeranians. In her spare time, Deb enjoys immersing herself in various DIY home projects, always finding new ways to enhance and personalize her living space. Her energetic Pomeranians keep her busy, and she often spends her days trying to tire them out with fun activities and long walks.

Kelly has 20 years of architectural experience working on projects throughout the northeast. For many years she designed community housing for seniors. More recently she has designed a wide range of projects which include apartment buildings, a community center, and many single-family residences, both new construction and renovation/additions.

Kelly lives in Litchfield, NH with her husband, two sons, a Goldendoodle, and a cat. She enjoys kayaking, swimming, tennis and traveling. Her favorite vacation spots are the NH lakes, Walt Disney World, and Hawaii.

During his time at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Nate was exposed to projects in a variety of building disciplines including architectural design, structural analysis, project management, building electrical systems, and HVAC design. Nate started at Team in 2019 and continued to expand his skills in a variety of areas. In his four years at Team, he has performed structural design, architectural design, and MEP design for a wide variety of residential and commercial buildings. Nate is now leading the effort to develop the MEP design sector at Team.

Nate currently resides in Concord, NH. He enjoys New England’s outdoors through rock climbing, skiing, and hiking in the White Mountains. When he’s not spending time outside, Nate plays music and loves watching the Bruins.

Morgan joined Team Engineering in 2022 after finishing her master’s degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. During her time at RPI, Morgan focused primarily on structural design with her master’s coursework, including several architectural and structural design projects. Morgan came to Team with several years of experience earned through an array of internships that exposed her to many different facets of civil engineering including, geotechnical, transportation, and structural projects. As an Engineer in Training, Morgan’s work includes project management, structural design, and computer-aided drafting services and is part of Team’s drive to grow their design team and increase focus on structural design projects.

Morgan grew up in Norfolk, CT, and after graduating from RPI moved to NH to work with Team Engineering. In her free time, she plays rugby for the Amoskeag Rugby Football Club in Manchester NH. Morgan also enjoys hiking and is working towards summiting all of the NH 48 4000 footers. Her other hobbies include reading, cooking, baking, and gardening at her home in Tilton, NH.

As an Engineer In Training at Team Engineering, Olivia excels in wood and steel structural design. During her time at the University of New Hampshire, Olivia took many structural engineering courses with a focus on design and engineering materials. Olivia started at Team as an intern in 2020 and then continued as a full-time employee following graduation. She is passionate about residential design and enjoys working on a variety of projects from renovations to high-end new construction houses. Olivia finds it exciting to watch projects come to life and getting to see people enjoy their new homes.

Olivia currently lives in Portsmouth, NH and graduated from the University of New Hampshire. She has grown up in New Hampshire but did do a semester abroad in Scotland while attending college. Olivia was a competitive gymnast for many years and still enjoys being active with rock climbing, traveling, hiking, and visiting national parks.

Ali joined Team Engineering in 2023 after completing her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Trinity College. While at Trinity, Ali studied mechanical systems through thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics coursework .Additionally, she pursued coursework in architectural design. As an Engineering Technician, Ali’s responsibilities encompass MEP design and assisting structural design. She is motivated to enhance people’s lives through innovative and practical system design and structural design.

Ali grew up on the seacoast of New Hampshire and has enjoyed everything the area has to offer. She is excited to be back in her home state after graduating in the spring of2023. During her time as a student, Ali played defense for Trinity College’s women’s lacrosse team. She actively participates in the Society of Women Engineers and has held the position of chapter president at Trinity. Now Ali enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors, engaging in activities such as running, hiking, and spending time with her family. She is looking forward to completing both a half marathon and a full marathon in the future.

As an engineer in training at Team Engineering, Oliver holds interest in structural design and analysis. He took many courses at the University of New Hampshire that led him to pursue structural engineering, such as Structural Design in Steel and Reinforced Concrete Design. For his senior capstone project, Oliver served as project manager for the second half of the year. This involved planning meetings with projects sponsors and advisors, town officials and capstone coordinators, among other responsibilities.

Oliver currently lives in Fremont, NH and graduated from the University of New Hampshire. He was born in Nantucket, MA but lived in New Hampshire most of his life. Oliver played football and baseball in high school, as well as threw shotput and discus. In college, he participated in intramural sports such as basketball and soccer. He enjoys hiking, golf, disc golf, camping, and playing/watching sports. Some hobbies of his include origami, reading, building Legos and fishing. Oliver also spent time in high school in community service clubs, such as Key Club and National Honor Society.

Eric has been a Project Manager with Team Engineering for over 6 years. Eric holds credentials as a Reserve Specialist by the Community Associations Institute. He is the “go to guy” for Reserve Studies. Eric has substantial hands-on experience in condominium roof and attic evaluations, as well as building construction practice and construction monitoring of HVAC and building envelope improvements. His working knowledge of code references, such as NFPA Life Safety 101 and the State Fire Code, is value added when he assesses conditions during site visits. With over 30 years of experience in the fire service, Eric offers insight to fire and life safety considerations of building layout and construction. Eric provides a unique perspective on building design and construction given his firsthand knowledge of the impact of extreme conditions such as fire, snow and ice loads on building systems. Eric is adept at assessing structural integrity of existing buildings.

Eric resides in Goffstown, NH with his wife, Karyn. Their three adult children are currently pursuing challenging careers. He thoroughly enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, kayaking and sailing. As an avid hiker, Eric is pursuing completion of the 4,000 foot peaks in New Hampshire. He is an active member of his church, and served as a vestry member for 6 years.

Marie is responsible for many roles at Team Engineering including accounting, human resources, office administration and generating company policies.

In her free time, Marie is an avid obstacle course racing (OCR) competitor. Her motivation and dedicated training have led her to multiple OCR Word Championships. After a long day of exercise, Marie like to relax with her husband Sean, along with their 4 Great Danes at their home in Windsor, NH.

With over ten years of experience in events, marketing, and communications, Eliza is responsible for everything related to marketing, business development, and client relationships here at Team Engineering.

A New Hampshire native, Eliza enjoys spending her time exploring the outdoors, baking, and spending time with her husband Joe and dog Pepper at their home in Goffstown, NH.
