Project Description
When it comes to advanced-ion battery production, dry rooms are vital in creating a fully controlled environment, where even the smallest amount of humid air could be detrimental to the manufacturing process. Team Engineering has partnered with Airtho and SL Chasse Steel in designing their steel-framed structures and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
With some of these rooms being over 50,000ft2, every construction detail is critical in ensuring the lithium-ion materials do not react with water, which may cause a dangerous exothermic reaction.
Airtho’s proprietary modular system and processes have made them one of the leading controlled environment experts across the country. We’re happy to partner with their team with various projects located throughout the nation (New Hampshire, New York, Kentucky, Michigan, California, Ohio, and more).
